There may not be an athlete I like less than Martin Brodeur. 1) Because he owned the Flyers for so many years, and 2) because he had an affair and later married his own sister-in-law. You don’t get more pond scum than someone who cheats on their wife with a family member. So Brodeur is one of the few people who could make me write something – anything! – positive about Sean Avery, who took this delicious jab in response to comments Marty made about him getting kicked off Dancing With the Stars:
