So, Tony Romo Is Pretty Good in the Booth

“Jim, I’ve got five dollars that this is a run to the left.”
(Tennessee runs the ball to the left)
Tony Romo was pretty damn good in his color commentary debut on Sunday afternoon, calling the Titans/Raiders game alongside Jim Nantz on CBS.
Turns out the ex-Cowboy is an omniscient football God, or at least a quarterback who played 14 seasons in the league. He spent the large majority of his first game correctly identifying play calls, audibles, and defensive schemes in a display of psychic prowess that would put Miss Cleo (RIP) to shame.

It’s impressive, and it’s certainly the type of in-depth stuff I want to hear from a color commentator. Already Romo is more enjoyable than Cris Collinsworth.
But some people had a problem with his style; do we want to know what happens before the ball is snapped?
Color commentary is usually made after the whistle, when we can get an explanation during replay and/or use the “telestrator” for visual aid.
Do you like Romo’s style, or did you find that annoying?
Also, pray for him.
Tony Romo is actually a pretty good broadcaster so it’s gonna suck when the booth collapses on him and he gets hurt
