Another February, another run at a number one seed for Villanova. So much for the Big East no longer being a power conference, what with two teams in the consensus top six:

St. Joe’s also received some vote(s) in both polls and will continue their tough slog through the A-10 this week with matchups against St. Bonaventure and Fordham. Villanova will play 11th ranked Providence and Creighton. They previously beat fifth ranked Xavier, who defected from the A-10, by 31. The two teams from the power conference will meet each other again on February 24.
