Whitney’s family is being extremely private with this whole thing. No public viewing, fine. But why deny a team a request to honor your daughter with a performance that has been seen millions of times and will continue be watched in perpetuity? Odd.
Speaking of the Sixers, the news is not good for Spencer Hawes. He was in a walking boot today and will visit Dr. Richard Ferkel at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute next Thursday, according to Dei Lynam, who I would love to know if she’s bothered by Michael Barkann constantly calling her “Denise.”
There’s a chance JVR will play tomorrow, according to Sam Carchidi. Perfect, Toronto will be so excited…
