Trent Cole's good, yo.  According to reader, "Tom", Cole was at the Princeton in Avalon on Saturday (packed shore bars are always a good place for sprained ankles), just hours after an MRI showed no structural damage to his injured right ankle.

The injury looked like it could have been a lot worse, given the fact that Cole was putting little weight on the ankle, but earlier today,  he told fans (stalkers, fantasy geeks?) that he was OK and should be ready for week 1.

He will almost certainly sit out of the final preseason game against the Jets on Thursday.  But hey, can't miss a night at the "P", right?

Earlier this summer, he "took a swing" at someone in the bar's rock room, according to one bouncer. Maybe cooler heads will prevail this time- don't want any undue stress on that ankle…

Perhaps he can ice Jeff Carter instead.
