Announcing a Content Partnership with Philly Sports Daily

Good news, folks.  We’re thrilled to announce a partnership with PhillySportsDaily.com.

In case you haven’t noticed, we often link to many of their articles for game recaps and quotes.  Philly Sports Daily is one of the few online-only outlets that has beat reporters embedded with each local team, bringing you breaking news and information throughout the day.

After hearing from many readers that Crossing Broad was their go-to local sports website, I wanted to make sure that we could bring you all of the important hard news and game recaps from our local teams, in addition to our normal posts.  As a blog, we don’t have the resources, man-power, or credentials to cover every story and update in real-time.  Philly Sports Daily does.

So how does this change our normal, snarky content?  It doesn’t.

Instead, we’ll continue with our same irreverent commentary, but we will also soon have links to hard news stories from PSD over on the right-hand rail.  And we’ll be able to more quickly break down quotes and news from our local teams by working with PSD’s fine reporters.
