Spot the Eagles Fan

Not a lot of love for the Eagles in last night's NFL commercial, but they're in there.

  1. what a cop out. “let’s just get a picture of 30 simpson characters and put the rest of the logos on them.” creative.

  2. The Pittsburgh Penguins: Your favorite NHL team would be that good too if they had as many first and second overall picks as the Pens did from 03-06 says:

“Hugh Jazz, I’m looking for a Hugh Jazz!”
Also, the folks from the office would be Steelers fans.

I also like how Flander’s kid is a Cardinals fan. Perhaps because of Kurt Warner?

  4. If Jim was in the Office clip he would have Eagles stuff. They have referred to his Philadelphia fanhood a few times.

  5. I’m confused about the Office Group wearing Pittsburgh stuff. Since Scranton is about 2 hours away from Philly and 5 hours away from Pittsburgh… is there a basis for them being Pittsburgh fans in the show?

  6. would u rather have Moe or Neuman? haha at least me and Jerry both hate Neuman and the cowboys!

  7. @ Timothy
I think Jim is a Philly fan, he had some stuff on his desk before. I know Michael Scott got a Pens jersey once in the show, but it was Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins. People up there like the Penguins over Flyers because of that, but I’m not really sure if Steelers fandom is just made up for the show or not.

  8. both Jim and Kevin from the Office are Eagles fans.
also could’ve done Fresh Prince, It’s Always Sunny, Bill Cosby, Boy Meets World, Fat Albert… anything?

  9. The funny thing about The Office part is that it look like that’s Phyllis wearing the Polamalu-Aumua jersey. According to IMDB, the actress who plays her (also named Phyllis) was born in Missouri, was a ballet dancer, and used to be a Cardinals cheerleader: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0809613/bio I’m guessing that was for football, not baseball, given her age. Strange to think that at one point she must have been a piece. That’s the problem with athletes, dancers, and other people who perform physical activities for a living. They typically don’t have to watch their calorie intake and figure out too late that they have to change their diet once they quit. But Back to Phyllis. I’m sure if the actors had any part in it they would have chosen their own team preferences. But since it was all digitally done, tough shyte.
