Joe Paterno Memorial Tickets Gone Within Minutes... Perhaps Seconds

Well, this isn’t entirely surprising– Tickets to the Joe Paterno memorial service scheduled for Thursday “sold out” in under 10 minutes today.

The service will be held at the Bryce Jordan Center, which boasts a seating capacity of around 16,000. 

According to college football writer Kevin McGuire, the free tickets were gone in seven minutes, perhaps even less. Of course, if you missed out, you can get them on eBay… for $26 make that $117 and counting.
