Douchebag cometh last night. Bryce Harper made his Major League debut and, unfortunately, didn’t disappoint. He hit a double, had an RBI, and showed off a strong arm on a throw to the plate. Of course, he also managed to nearly (accidentally) knock over an umpire and tore his own helmet off as he ran to second. [Video of all that here.]

Anyway, the ante for Takeover has been ratcheted up a bit. And we still have tickets remaining for next Sunday’s trip to the nation’s capital.

Here are all the details: $120 gets you bus ticket, lower-level game ticket (in right field, behind Jayson Werth), food, drinks (must be 21+ to consume alcohol), and a t-shirt.

We will be leaving from the sports complex at 2 p.m. and will return after the game. It is a Sunday night broadcast on ESPN, which means that – with 200 Phillies fans all rocking the same t-shirt and serenading Werth in right – there’s a high probability that we’ll get on national TV.

More details here.

Tickets can be purchased here. For those who have already bought tickets, you should have received an email this week with details about check-in. There will be a second email, on Monday or Tuesday, with information about parking and exact bus locations.
