Cavs Announcers Invoke Santa as Philly Fans Give LeBron James a Standing Ovation

Even when giving a standing ovation to one of the all-time greats for becoming the youngest player to ever score 25,000 points, Philly fans can’t avoid a booing Santa reference. You can lay that one at the feet of the Cavs’ TV announcers in the video above.
On a night where most people showed up to see LeBron and watch the Sixers… play, the fans gave LeBron the extended standing ovation he deserved.
After the game, he said it was “very special” to receive an ovation like that in a building where they love basketball. Someone should probably tell him that “The Center” gets most packed when he comes to town, though.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
