A Giants Win Tonight Will Make the NFC East the Focus of the NFL in Week 16
Adam Schefter is reporting that if the Giants win tonight against the Dolphins, the NFL will flex their week 16 game to Sunday Night Football on December 27th. The Eagles and Redskins (who could still be tied at that point or again become tied depending on the game’s outcome) already face off in Saturday Night Football action the day after Christmas. The whole division could be on the line that Sunday night, or it could carry over into week 17 for the third time in Chip Kelly’s three-year coaching career, with the Eagles in another win-or-go-home season finale. And the best part of all of this? The Cowboys won’t be involved.
The Eagles can even make a sub-.500 season heart-wrenching, and it’s up to you whether that’s a good thing or not.
UPDATE: Just fyi:
I am now being told the Giants-Eagles game Week 17 can't be flexed to prime time because Eagles are maxed out on prime time games.
