Jeremy Hellickson's Value is Going Up
Jeremy Hellickson is the Phillies’ best trade chip that they could actually move. The Marlins had been in on him but moved on according to Jayson Stark.
The Marlins turned to SD after not matching up with Phillies on Hellickson. And the Rays asked for Yelich & Realmuto for Moore or Odorizzi!

You’d think the Marlins being out would narrow Hellickson’s suitors and therefore his value. You’d be wrong:
Sign that the trade market has officially gotten out of hand: Jeremy Hellickson may well fetch at least three, and perhaps four, prospects.

The Phils had reportedly been after a top-5 prospect from a team, but if Helli is gonna bring three to four prospects back, one of them being a top-5 seems unlikely. Still, getting a collection of prospects back for a guy who is likely leaving your team next year anyway is a huge get. The Jays are reportedly looking at him. Klentak might not have as much work to do as Ruben Amaro did in his final season, but with a smart move or two he can keep that rebuild chugging along.
