Joel Embiid played all of his allotted minutes in the first half of tonight’s pre-season opener at UMass Amherst. The strategy out of the gate was “give Joel the ball.” He got doubled early which forced a couple of turnovers, but he also showed flashes of the Joel Embiid we have been waiting for.
