The Flyers Honored Local Hockey Player Nick Bond Last Night
I won’t use this opportunity to snark about how this is the best thing the Flyers have done on or around the ice in two months (…), but I will point out that honoring Nick Bond, who died last weekend after playing in a hockey game, was a really cool thing to do.
The Flyers paid tribute with a moment of silence, followed by Lauren Hart singing the National Anthem wearing a Wissahickon Warriors sweater:
I was very proud to wear the jersey 2nite the song was all for NICK BOND. Love to his family and all the Warriors. 💙💙 pic.twitter.com/kjJo5jyzOh
