Robert Covington Also Has a Torn Meniscus. Cool.
Over an up and down and down again shooting season, Robert Covington quietly made himself into one of the NBA’s premier wing defenders, but now he’s done.
Covington MRI revealed a slight tear of lateral meniscus, will miss rest of the season. Okafor will also sit out rest of the season.

Covington has a "slight" lateral meniscus tear in his right knee. DONE for the season.

It’s a classic Sixers situation:
Robert Covington first sat out with a knee injury on 3/12. He played 8 games after that, and a total of 261 minutes. Now diagnosed with tear

Somehow, Covington and Embiid having the same injury makes me feel a little better about both of their recoveries. If neither comes back at 100% the Sixers are taking a huge step back, and we’ve had enough of those. There’s no reason they shouldn’t be able to fully recover. Okafor is also out for the year, but whatever.
