The Sixers got the third pick– they swapped with the Kings, who got the Sixers’ fifth pick. Sam Hinkie died for that.
The Celtics got the first pick and the Lakers got second.
Since the Lakers pick landed in the top three, the Sixers will get their pick unprotected next year. They also get the Kings’ unprotected first round pick in 2019. Trust the process.
