After a shaky Week 1 win, the Eagles head to Kansas City to take on Andy Reid and the Chiefs in what could be the Clock Management Bowl.

To recap, here’s where the staff stands after one week:

T1: Sean, Tyler, Jim, Tim, Bob, Kyle (1-0)

T7: Phil, Chris, Kevin K, Kevin L (Both Kevins are getting a loss since they never got their Week 1 picks in), Coggin (0-1)

Our predictions for this week are after the jump:

Sean: Everything about this game looks difficult. Matching up with Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and first ballot hall of famer Kareem Hunt will be a really difficult task. But, it’s actually the Chiefs’ defense, particularly Justin Houston, that could create the biggest problems for the Eagles. Everything points to the Chiefs winning this game. That said, my sports gut is telling me something else. I am feeling a Chiefs’ squad that will come out flat. Eagles take an early lead, Andy Reid has a clock management gaffe and the Eagles hold on for the win. Eagles 27, Chiefs 21.

Phil: Between bites of succulent ribeye, Andy Reid has almost surely told his team something along these lines in the past few days: “Look, guys, I know we beat the defending champions last week and we have a division game away in Week 3. So this is a bit of a trap game. I get it. But listen very carefully: I am not losing to the Eagles. Not now, and not ever if I can help it. Don’t even think about not winning this game. If I have to shake Doug’s hand after losing on Sunday you’ll all have to find your own rides to the Chargers game.” Chiefs 31, Eagles 24.

Chris: I was pleasantly surprised with how the run defense was last week. But I’m still scared about the secondary, especially without Darby for a handful of weeks. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bennie Logan has a decent day against the Eagle offense. But in the end, there’ll be at least one clock management gaffe, and it’ll be made by Andy Reid. Doug goes 2-0, and Michael Lombardi looks bad again. Eagles 24, Chiefs 20.

Kevin K: I’m with Sean. I don’t like the matchups at all. But I also don’t think Kansas City can replicate that incredible Week 1 performance. I think we actually see a competitive game here, with the Chiefs riding home field advantage to a 7 to 10 point win. Chiefs 27, Eagles 20.

Coggin: Tyreek Hill is faster than Andy Reid running for the crab legs at an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet. He’ll give the shorthanded Eagles secondary fits all game. Chiefs 28, Eagles 20.

Tyler: Eagles looked good in Week 1, but not good enough to go into Arrowhead, against a better football team, and leave with a win. Carson Wentz performs well and finally hits Alshon Jeffery for his first touchdown as an Eagle, but the offense won’t muster enough and the KC offense will roll past the Eagles defense as the birds suffer first loss of 2017 season. Chiefs 28, Eagles 17.

Kevin L: An offensive line is only as good as it’s weakest, and Isaac Seumalo is a frustratingly poor run blocker. The Eagles aren’t able to establish any threat of a run; Wentz is forced to throw 40+ times. Justin Houston wreaks havoc all day and Marcus Peters, honoring the loss of his secondary partner Eric Berry, comes away with 2 picks. Garbage time touchdown makes the game seem closer than it actually was. Chiefs 31, Eagles 24.

Bob: While Andy Reid has an uncanny ability to take unstoppable momentum and bring it to a screeching halt, he’s also 23-9 as head coach of the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs possess a dynamic offense, and I don’t think the Eagles can consistently run the ball well enough to take the pressure off Carson Wentz. Plus, I’m not crazy about a rookie kicker making his debut in a hostile environment. Just doesn’t feel like a good spot for the Eagles this week. Chiefs 31, Eagles 20.

Reilly: Andy Reid is the best coach in the NFL not named Bill Belichick. Given the extra time he’s had to prepare for this game, I don’t see how the Eagles win. Absent an effective running game, expect to see Alshon Jeffery more involved this week as the Birds try to keep the Chiefs offense on the sideline and their pass rush at bay with a lot of short throws and intermediate routes. It won’t be enough. Chiefs 27, Eagles 20.

Kyle: This is a winnable game, but beating the Chiefs at home is a tough task and will require a DEFENSIVE TOUCHDOWN to happen. The line has consistently been moving away from the Eagles with their implied point total coming down a full point. From now on, I’m just going to pick odd scores and bank on dumb Pederson doing something dumb for it to happen. Or a safety. Chiefs 24, Eagles 18.
