Not sure how much you’ve been paying attention to the radio host/beat writer shuffle in recent months, but Adam Caplan moved on from ESPN and 97.5 a while back, along with Geoff Mosher, who had been with the Fanatic for a time after leaving his Comcast SportsNet gig. Mosher was a night time and fill-in host while Caplan appeared regularly on the station while doing his ESPN duties.

The pair are now rolling out a new podcast called “Inside the Birds,” which will be wrapped into SportsRadio 94 WIP’s “Go Birds” network and featured on Radio.com.

Also joining Caplan and Mosher is ex-practice squad Eagle Bill Osborn, who spent years doing radio work with the Pittsburgh Panthers after his NFL, AFL, and World League days.

It looks like the trio did their first podcast back in July:

So I think the only thing that changes now is that they link up with WIP and wrap their show into the new network that features the re-branded BGN Radio, which is John Barchard, James Seltzer, and a few other guys, minus Brandon Lee Gowton, who rolled out his new version of BGN Radio which is anchored on the “Bleeding Green Nation” website.

Does that make sense? the BGN thing can be confusing, but it’s basically like that time where Queensryche had a dispute with their former lead singer, so there were two versions of Queensryche touring the United States at the same time.

Anyway, Caplan joined the WIP midday show to make the announcement and chat about the Eagles with another ex-Fanatic employee in Joe DeCamara:

WIP also announced yesterday that Eliot Shorr-Parks will join the station as an Eagles beat writer.
