Richaun Holmes Arrested for Marijuana Possession
I feel like this is the 10th story I’ve written about weed this week.
Former Sixers center Richaun Holmes was arrested in Miami for smoking a joint, which probably shouldn’t be a big deal in 2019, but yeah:
MORE: Police say the car that Holmes was a backseat passenger in "had smoke that smelled like burnt marijuana rolling out of the open window for 20+ seconds."
Holmes denied possession. He and another passenger were both arrested for the "approximately 3-gram" joint.

“Hot and smoldering,” the way I like my Manco and Manco pizza.
More from the Miami Herald, after the jump:
Holmes, 25, was arrested along with former developmental league player James Webb, whose last stop in the NBA was a brief stint with the Brooklyn Nets last year.
Both were charged with possession of cannabis and posted bond after just a couple hours in jail on Wednesday night.
Josh Jackson was also arrested in the Miami area this month, when he ran away from police officers after trying to enter a VIP area at the Rolling Loud music festival. Maybe it’s best that Phoenix Suns players just stay out of Florida entirely.
