Your Friday Morning Roundup
The Eagles lost to the Ravens in their third preseason game. It was also cut short due to lightning. Thank God.
Most of the starters played 2 or 3 drives in this one and nobody got hurt. Rodney McLeod played at safety and he looks pretty good since getting injured last September.
Cody Kessler sucks, end of story. He’s probably going to be the odd-man out. Josh McCown looked solid, going 17-of-24 for 192 yards and two touchdowns and I honestly think he should be the No. 2 QB behind Carson Wentz.
Perhaps the best performer throughout the entire preseason could be wide receiver JJ Arcega-Whiteside. He’s played a lot of the snaps with the starters sitting, but the rookie out of Stanford had another good night with eight receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown:

Greg Ward has also looked good and he could be on the better end of the 53-man roster.
Preseason finale is against the Jets next weekend. Hope you love dudes you may have never heard of.
