New Jersey has been at the forefront of the U.S. legal online sports betting movement, and given it is one of the country’s most liberal betting markets, it’s no surprise that NJ online sports betting is offering odds on the Emmy Awards.
In fact, New Jersey is the only state offering betting markets on predetermined awards shows, and DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook are, wait for it, rolling out the red carpet to interested bettors as the only two online betting sites offering action on the Emmys.
We recommend DraftKings. They offer a $200 first-bet match, which you can grab right here.

Let’s take a look at the odds on the available betting markets for the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards to be held tonight at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Veep, starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, is the overwhelming favorite to take home Best Comedy, and it’s certainly the show with the best name recognition.
It’s the year of the drama with some heavy-hitters up for Best Drama, but based on these current odds, it appears this award is reserved for Game of Thrones. At -1000 odds, there’s a 90.9% implied probability that GOT will be the winner.
What’s a limited series? It’s a show that has at least two episodes, runs a total of 150 minutes, and tell a complete and non-recurring story. HBO’s Chernoby, created by Craig Mazin, details the Soviet Union’s 1986 nuclear plant disaster and is the clear favorite tonight.
No love for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, I guess. It’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver well out in front of a muddled crowd.
In its 11th season, VH1’s RuPaul’s Drag Race has an implied win probability of 95.2% based on the current odds. Sounds like a lock.
Ben Winshaw is the favorite here, but I have a soft spot for Stellan Skarsgard because of his role as Gerald Lambeau in Good Will Hunting. Not really relevant here, but, you know.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus is no stranger to the Emmy’s. She’s won this award eight times and appears in line for a ninth.
Pose star Billy Porter has a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical in his back pocket. He’s the favorite tonight, and this would be his first Emmy.
Sandra Oh, the former Grey’s Anatomy star, is the favorite in this category. She’s in line to win her first Primetime Emmy in what is her eighth nomination.
Jerome, the When They See Us star, is up for his first Primetime Emmy.
Williams is up for her first Primetime Emmy awards for her work in Fosse/Verdon.
So there you have it. When you tune into the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards tonight at 8 p.m. on FOX, there will 11 categories to bet on, adding a little drama to your evening by betting on the Emmys in New Jersey.
