How It Works

Users have until September 8 to enter the contest.

It is $150 to enter and each user can enter up to 25 times. SugarHouse has been promoting the contest hard through email and they even offered discounts during the month of August. This may be an indication that signups are not be what they expected and the overall player pool might be lower, meaning the chances of winning are greater.

First place prize will pay at $125,000, with the top 500 players receiving some sort of money. Each weekly winner receives $2,500, and the overall loser also receives $2,500. A fun twist that allows bottom dwellers a chance to intentionally lose heading into the end of the season.

First Of Its Kind

SugarHouse Sportsbook is the first legal sportsbook outside of Nevada to offer one of these fan-favorite season-long supercontests, popularized by Westgate in Las Vegas. They are not present in New Jersey, but SugarHouse and its sister site, BetRivers, have been offering one in Pennsylvania since late July.

Users now have about four days to get signed up and registered. And those of you who already did sign up can begin to make your selections inside the SugarHouse app on Android or through the mobile web on iOS.

SugarHouse was the overwhelming leader in the PA betting market in the month of July, but with rival FanDuel Sportsbook live in PA for the entire month of August, it will be interesting to see who took a larger betting handle predominantly on baseball and a little bit of college football at the end of the month.

Regardless, the Pick ‘Em contest should prove popular among PA bettors.
