Nothing happened.

The Eagles did not make a move today.

Chris Harris was not traded.

Robby Anderson was not traded.

Von Miller, Darius Slay, and Trent Williams were not traded.

In fact, a grand total of ONE player was moved, veteran cornerback Aqib Talib, who was banished to Miami (along with a 5th round pick) for a future draft pick. There were some rumors that the Cowboys were trying to acquire Jets safety Jamal Adams, which did not materialize (thankfully).

The entire afternoon was a rainy and crappy letdown.

What was most surprising was that a PLETHORA of bad teams got nothing at all for veteran players on expiring contracts. There was player-personnel MALPRACTICE committed league-wide today, just head-scratching inactivity overall. There were missed opportunities to blow it up, recoup assets, and start rebuilding. Joe Douglas and whomever runs the Broncos had disappointing days.

This is how I feel about the 2019 NFL trade deadline, only Dave Chappelle represents the league as a whole:
