This Woman Was Killing it on the Jumbotron at the Sixers Game

via Instagram (John Clark)

So last night at the Sixers game the crowd was going nuts for this woman who was being shown repeatedly on the jumbotron, dancing and flinging her hair around like Tawny Kitaen in a Whitesnake video. The folks who run ops down there like to give us a dance battle in the second half, usually the backpack kid vs. shirtless kid, but I don’t think they’ve been at the games this year.

I couldn’t find a clip at the time, but Twitter user @Go_Sixers_Go was good enough to send me her Instagram account, which features video from the Wells Fargo Center, captured by Johnny Airport Clark over at NBC 10. Here’s “Julia Rae” –

Love it. Looks like a lot of fun. The crowd was enthralled for a few different reasons, if you know what I mean.

Apparently she was Miss Philadelphia back in 2015 and is a singer/model/actor/etc who did some reporting for Action News and FOX.

Who knew? Not me.

  1. Yea she was at the Nuggets game lastnight. She attempted to sing the national anthem and flubbed it BAD. She did manage to finish it.
