T.J. McConnell Mic’d Up Was, Sadly, the Best Part of Monday Night’s Game

Sixers lost last night in rather ugly fashion. The shots were not falling.

Therefore, the most entertaining portion of the game was probably this mic’d up segment from ex-Sixer T.J. McConnell, who razzed his former teammates:

“Your Redskins were good this year”

Great line, delivered to Washington fan Mike Scott. Also enjoyed him talking about Korkmaz’s shoes and chiding Ben Simmons about the Clemson/LSU game, though I’m not sure how attached Simmons is to Baton Rouge since he spent five seconds living there.

McConnell had 4 points on 2-5 shooting last night. He played 14 minutes and had that big 4th quarter pick-pocket steal on Raul Neto, which led to a dunk on the other end.
