Howie Roseman is wheelin’ and dealin’ today. While Eagles fans come to grips with the departure of Nelson Agholor, the Eagles GM made a couple of signings to bolster the defense.

The more notable of the signings is safety Will Parks, which was first reported by the NFL Network’s James Palmer:

Parks has been a Swiss army knife of sorts during his tenure with the Broncos, including lining up at cornerback and nickel linebacker in addition to his primary safety position. While he’s started just 15 of 62 games in his career, it sounds like the potential to play significant minutes and challenge for a starting role on his hometown team played a factor in his decision to sign with the Eagles:

What kind of player are the Eagles getting? One who absolutely busts it from hash to hash to break up a sure-fire touchdown:

Solid signing.

The Eagles also brought in former Chargers linebacker Jatavis Brown who -despite having a lackluster 2019 season- posted 97 tackles in 2018.
