Rodney McLeod Returns to Eagles on Two-Year Deal

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

So they decided to let Malcolm Jenkins walk and will give McLeod two years:

Dave Zangaro says it’s $12 million dollars total.

We’ve got a safety situation that now looks like this:

  • McLeod (will turn 30 in June)
  • converted Jalen Mills
  • Avonte Maddox (played backup safety for a portion of 2018 season)
  • Rudy Ford
  • Marcus Epps

And then at cornerback it’s a group of Maddox, Rasul Douglas, Cre’Von LeBlanc, Sidney Jones, Craig James, Tremon Smith, and Trevor Williams. Desmond Trufant is still out there. Chris Harris, Logan Ryan, and Xavier Rhodes, too.
