Josina Anderson is Reportedly OUT at ESPN
Per Andrew Marchand at the New York Post, who writes the following:
The move with Anderson has been anticipated since the Super Bowl when it was first reported that she and ESPN could be parting ways.
The official move with Anderson is unrelated to any cutting of personnel related to the coronavirus’ economic impact on Disney and ESPN.
ESPN declined comment, while Anderson did not return messages.
Marchand wrote a while back that her contract was expiring in the summer. He also noted that she took some heat for her reporting on the Myles Garrett/Mason Rudolph incident.
Anyway, this could have massive ramifications in the Eagles’ locker room. Will Josina Anderson’s snitch disappear along with her? Will the snitch simply snitch to another reporter? Or will Josina get another job elsewhere and continue to deliver migraine-inducing leaks via disgruntled players?
Only time will tell, but in the interim, Eagles fans should be counting this as a victory.
