Phillies Announce Four More COVID-19 Cases

Phillies statement:
Following up on Friday’s announcement, one player and two staff members in Clearwater tested positive for Covid-19 over the past few days. All other tests have come back negative. In addition, one player tested positive in a location other than Clearwater.
Friday it was revealed that five players and three staffers in Clearwater had tested positive for COVID. At the time, eight other tests came back negative while 12 staffers and 20 major and minor league players were in the process of being tested.
Florida has been a hot spot for the Coronavirus in recent weeks. The Blue Jays and Lightning shut down their Florida facilities and Orlando’s NWSL team decided to withdraw from the league tournament in Utah because a number of their players decided to go clubbing, which resulted in 10 positive tests inside the team.
