Rangers Pitcher and Manager Suspended in Grand Slam Fallout
We wrote earlier today about the complaints coming from both the Padres’ and Rangers’ managers, following the Fernando Tatis Jr. grand slam that sparked a nationwide debate on the absolutely ridiculous “unwritten rules” of baseball.
Tatis was facing a 3-0 count, with the Padres winning by seven runs last night, and crushed a meat ball out of the park. The crybaby Rangers, angry about a young and exciting player dishonoring the sacred integrity of the game, decided to throw behind Manny Machado, who didn’t have anything to do with it but just happened to be the next guy up to the plate.
Now MLB suspended the pitcher and manager for their insolence:

Gibaut has a lot of nerve appealing the suspension.
Outrageous!
Edit:
Bob asked Joe Girardi about this and the answer is good –
I asked Joe Girardi for his thoughts on the Fernando Tatis Jr. situation. I assume most fans will like his response. pic.twitter.com/IwFvdU6DAM
