If you somehow haven’t heard by now, the Flyers won a double OT thriller in Game 6 of their series against the New York Islanders, one which saw forward Oskar Lindblom return to the lineup for the first time since being diagnosed with a rare bone cancer in December. If Lindblom’s return made you weep happy tears before the game, Ivan Provorov’s giddiness heading to the locker room after scoring the game-winning goal will take your breath away. Prepare to laugh:

The run up the tunnel is part dance, part run, part overwhelming anticipation of the impending celebration. Something about the rest of the team sitting uniformly and clapping along to an upbeat oompah track is absolutely delightful. Nate Thompson might’ve been the most over-the-top excited to celebrate with the Flyers’ defenseman, while Robert Hägg sat with a grin from ear-to-ear that would make the Cheshire Cat blush.

Meanwhile, Carter Hart -who absolutely stole the show in the overtime periods- was once again cool, calm, and collected getting his equipment off

By the way, I know it might seem ridiculous, but seeing the Raptors logo in the hallway triggered a sense of karmic justice coming Philadelphia’s way. The Kawhi Leonard shot was one of the low-points in the past decade for Philly sports. Perhaps this team from the City of Brotherly Love can seal the deal in a Game 7 in Toronto.

Game 7 is Saturday at 7:30PM on NBC.
