Jalen Reagor is Wearing Pads and Does Not Look Very Injured
Jalen Reagor is not expected to play against the Washington Football Team on Sunday due to an injured shoulder, but he wore pads at practice today, which was a nice surprise.
The bum shoulder was sustained during a tackle, when the Birds rookie was trying to bring down Will Parks during an interception in practice. He was initially reported to have a slight tear in his labrum, which would keep him out 3-4 weeks retroactive to August 30th, when the incident occurred. We thought he might miss the Washington and LA games at the very least, but the assembled scribes at NovaCare got a look at him today and he seems to be doing well:

This is a good sign. Good news on the injury front? First time that’s happened since… perhaps Brandon Brooks was able to come back after an eight-month layoff despite being ruled out for the year. Eagles fans are due for some positive updates, since the injury situation has been stinky over the last few years.
If Reagor does not play, you’re looking at a starting unit of DeSean Jaccson, Greg Ward, and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside on Sunday afternoon. Camp standout John Hightower is available, and the always-reliable Zach Ertz will be lined up at tight end. Miles Sanders is also expected to be alright despite missing a chunk of camp.
