Eagles tidbit here:

What does it mean? Anything significant?

Not necessarily. When you have a high pick in a QB-ripe draft, you’re typically going to send personnel to attend these pro days. It’s due diligence and note taking that can double as a smoke screen.

Steichen and Johnson also went to Trey Lance’s Pro Day, so we can’t glean any kind of “they seem interested in this guy, but not this guy” kind of takeaway. They’re gonna canvass the market with the guys projected in the 2-15 range, while not tipping off other teams as to what they’re thinking. Nobody really truly knows how the Eagles feel about Jalen Hurts right now, but if they didn’t send anybody to any of these QB workouts, then we’d have a more clear picture.

That’s about it. Due diligence. Fact finding. Message obscuring and homework completion. All things we’d expect from most NFL teams.
