It’s been about two months since the car crash involving Andy Reid’s son Britt, which left a five-year-old girl in the hospital.

Still no word from Missouri officials on possible charges, but we got an update this week on the victim, from the Go Fund Me page:

“Ariel remains in the hospital, she is getting a little better each day but she still has a long road to recovery. Britt Reid is out everyday living his normal life while she cannot, please don’t let her story be forgotten. Court will take a long time and we don’t know what will be the outcome of it all. So please keep sharing her story and praying for her and the family. Thank you.”

An update posted on March 2nd noted that the girl remained “awake but unresponsive, and will be in a wheelchair for the foreseeable future.”

RE: Reid, toxicology reports still have not been released. It was reported in February that it would take weeks until prosecutors would complete their case file, which includes crash reconstruction and witness statements. The process is moving along very slowly, but experts told us at the time that this would happen.

Britt Reid is no longer with the Chiefs because his contract expired during the time period in which he was placed on leave.
