Should the Eagles sign Cam? You know some dipshit is about to call one or both of the radio stations to ask that question. If the Birds want to keep the “quarterback factory” chugging, then Howie should go out and get Cam Newton, and then cut Joe Flacco and trade for Nick Foles. Keep four quarterbacks on the roster this season. Open competition! Who wants the job!?
On a serious note, this has Carson Wentz and Sam Bradford vibes, doesn’t it? The Birds, we thought, were gonna sit Wentz behind Bradford for a season, but went and traded him instead and handed Carson the rookie reins. Same thing up in New England, with the Pats committing to their future right now instead of delaying.
Cam is only 32 years old and still has something left in the tank. Gotta find the right team. Right coach. Right system. Meantime, Scott Zolak and the douchebag radio guys up in Boston are doing cartwheels.
