Kendrick Perkins Drops a Sixers-Related PERK BOMB

Here’s Kendrick Perkins talking about James Harden, who apparently would like to play with Joel Embiid:

Some people might laugh this off, but if you’ll recall, Perk was actually the first person to say publicly that Ben Simmons was thinking about not reporting to Sixers camp. That was back on August 9th, when he said this:
“Ben Simmons is not answering the phone calls, he don’t want to be with the 76ers, and from what I heard, he’s willing not to report to training camp, and will go as long as it takes for him to get out of Philly. So I say where there’s smoke there’s fire.”
And that turned out to be true (Perk also had the Doc stuff), so maybe Perk is the next Woj. Maybe we have dueling bomb droppers.
There are Woj bombs and Perk bombs. Right now Woj is dropping nukes, but don’t sleep on the Perk bomb, which has increased in blast radius over the years. Perk isn’t exactly flying the Enola Gay out here, but if he keeps dropping hints like these, we gotta give him a seat at the table, next to Woj and Shams.
EDIT – here’s the extended version of the video clip, which gives a little more context:
Kendrick Perkins on James Harden wanting to play with Joel Embiid:
“This is real life this is not rumors…James Harden camp is telling people in Philly, we want to come play with Embiid next year.”
