Markelle Fultz Believes the MVP Vote is Screwed Up Because the NBA “Doesn’t Wanna Validate the Process”

Markelle Fultz continues to surprise with an expected face turn.

Last November, he went to bat for Philly sports fans, and now he’s siding with Joel Embiid in believing that the NBA community at large does indeed hate the process:

Damn. What a quote. He’s right because “they hate the Process.” Nikola Jokic is probably gonna win the award again, and look, dude is amazing and probably deserves it, but Embiid’s case is just as strong. If ever there was a year to cut the trophy in half, it’s this year. Or perhaps they just call it a tie and hand out two trophies instead. That won’t be the case though because Tencent gets votes, and The Ringer apparently has a bazillion votes, so the entire thing is fugazi. Hopefully this lights a fire under Joel’s bum and he drops a 50 burger on the Raptors this weekend.
