That didn’t take long. Mikey Miss has found a new gig and it’s with Jakib Sports for their Jakib Postgame Show:

Here’s the press release from JakibSports.com:

The Postgame Show will cover the Philadelphia Eagles and air on 6abc.com as well as the JAKIB Sports YouTube Channel immediately following every game. https://www.youtube.com/c/JAKIBSports

The Talent Line-Up for the JAKIB Postgame Show includes the Number One Football Analyst in Philadelphia, the Number One Sports Talker in Philadelphia & the Number One Eagles Beat Reporter in Philadelphia along w/ Philadelphia’s Next Media Star!

SETH JOYNER, MIKE MISSANELLI, DERRICK GUNN & DEVAN KANEY will broadcast LIVE from OCEAN CASINO RESORT’S brand-new SPORTSBOOK, The Gallery every week during the upcoming football season.

THE JAKIB POSTGAME SHOW will debut on Sunday, September 11, 2022, immediately following the Eagles–Lions Season Opener. The Two-Hour Plus Show will air exclusively across the JAKIB Sports Network on 6abc.com, the JAKIB Sports YouTube Channel, and all Digital Networks including APPLE-TV, ROKU-TV, ANDROID-TV & FIRE-TV

“It is so exciting to return to 6abc.com for year two,” said Joe Krause, Owner of JAKIB Media. “Our line-up of talent is beyond the highest expectations of the most passionate fans in this city!  Fans should subscribe right now to the JAKIB Sports YouTube Channel.”

“Last year we wondered if the Philadelphian Sports fans would consume a digital program,” says Bernie Prazenica, President & General Manager of 6abc.  “We now know the answer was a resounding Yes! With this Lineup of stars, we are again proud to work with JAKIB Media and their amazing team of talent”

If you remember, Jakib was supposed to do a show with Derrick, Devan, Marc Farzetta, and Lane Johnson last year. Due to Lane’s personal leave mid-season he was only able to participate in Week 1 before Jakib had to fill his role with different guests and Eagles reporters for the rest of the year.

This also marks the return to postgame for Seth Joyner who last month willingly left Eagles Postgame Live on NBC Sports Philly. That’s gotta be a tough pill to swallow if you’re over in the Wells Fargo Center. A couple years ago someone leaving NBC Sports Philly for an opportunity on a digital show would’ve been unheard of. That seems like more of a testament to what the skeleton NBCS Philly has become in the last decade.

This also marks the return of Missanelli and 6ABC’s relationship. I wonder if that included sign off approval from the higher ups at the Mouse. We’ll have Kinkead effort that information when he’s back from his mission in Guatemala spreading the word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and see if Mikey Miss signed off on letting a female talk football.

There will be more…
