Phillies Trade for Brandon Marsh, Bring Back David Robertson
The Phils did something:

Phillies are trading Logan O'Hoppe to Angels for Brandon Marsh, sources said. @ByRobertMurray is on it.

Hmm. Well the Phillies definitely wanted to address center field, and they did, but some fans seem miffed that O’Hoppe is the guy going the other way. He may have never played here. Regardless, Marsh was a top prospect for some time, an excellent defensive player who is only 24 years old and will be under Phillies control for a few more years. Marsh is a whatever hitter, but we’ve been through the Odubel/Quinn/Haseley/Moniak/etc blender in CF for long enough now that this probably signals the end of that.
Second move:
The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired right-hander David Robertson from the Chicago Cubs, sources tell ESPN.

Ben Brown is going to Chicago in the David Robertson trade, sources said.

Robertson owes us. He is coming back here to complete what was basically never started. He’s been good this year at age 37. 2.23 ERA, 14 saves, striking out 11.4 batters per nine. Still feels like the Phils need a starting pitcher with a few more hours until the deadline.
