Adam Schefter on the Fanatic Wednesday morning:

Mack was a 1,000 yard runner back in 2019, then Jonathan Taylor came on the scene in Indy. He went down to Houston and then wound up being released. (edit – forgot to mention he had the Achilles injury also, had to return from that)

He’s still only 26 years old, and is 6’0″, about 210 pounds, so he’s really not much bigger than Miles Sanders, but he does find the end zone and is a good red zone guy. He scored 18 touchdowns in 2018 and 2019 and is a little more of a north/south guy than Sanders, though most people are if we’re being honest. Schefty says other teams are interested obviously, but the Eagles do need another body in the running back group, especially with Sanders going through that injury and being a little iffy as week 1 approaches.
