Sugary Drink Update: Jalen Hurts is No Longer Consuming Lemonade
Let’s get it back to the Eagles with a training camp update:
#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts said he gave up Lemonade, one of his favorites, along with other sugary drinks this offseason.
Found a replacement: Lemon Perfect. Said he’s also drinking more water. Feels “cleaner” even though he’s still at 220 pounds.

I have never heard of “Lemon Perfect.”
According to a brief Googling, it’s a five-calorie, cold-pressed lemon water. “We squeeze half an organic lemon into every bottle to make hydration more convenient, delicious and blissful than ever,” it says on the official website. Looks like they’ve got a dragon fruit version, a pineapple coconut flavor, and other assorted jawns:
Lemonade comes in different varieties, but another brief Googling reveals to me that you’re consuming 24 grams of sugar on average with an eight ounce pour. A medium Chick-fil-A lemonade has 55 grams, which is bonkers if you think about it. It sounds kinda dumb, like “does this really matter?“, but for Hurts to remain at 220 while replacing sugary crap with more healthy stuff is another small positive to consider. Maybe we’re going to the Super Bowl! Go Birds!
