This happened last week but it must be addressed.

The Marks and Reese show did their annual fantasy football draft, for a league comprised of the show hosts and some of their frequent callers, like that idiot Mad Mike in King of Prussia.

Wade from Chester/O.G. Wade went first and he drafted Jalen Hurts, then took Justin Herbert and DeVonta Smith:

Now listen, Jalen Hurts will put up a ton of fantasy points this year, assuming he does work on the ground in addition to throwing for some scores. He’s got a ton of potential as a dual-threat guy, but Wade might not understand how fantasy football works. He took two quarterbacks and then a WR2 from the same team as the first quarterback, then finished his draft like this:

  1. Hurts
  2. Justin Herbert
  3. DeVonta Smith
  4. James Conner
  5. Dallas Goedert
  6. Hunter Renfrow
  7. Dawson Knox
  8. Drake London
  9. Steelers D
  10. Tyler Johnson (cut by the Bucs)
  11. Jerick McKinnon
  12. Tyler Higbee
  13. Indy D
  14. C.J. Uzomah
  15. Tim Patrick
  16. Kenny Golladay

Bold strategy here of taking his favorite players, but our official prediction is that Wade finishes last in the league.

Looking over the board here, I’d say the best draft went to Ike Reese, though Andy in Deptford could compete for the title:

Lotta bad here though. Mike Gesicki in the fourth round? Sam took JJAW and Reagor both. Must be trolling us.

The real disappointment here is that INGY did not take part.
