Ruben Amaro Jr. Wants Aaron Nola Doubters to Kiss His Ass
RAJ checking in:
Oh, yeah. And for those who had doubts about Aaron Nola being a big game pitcher can kiss my ass

It appears as though Ruben Amaro Jr. is actually Anthony’s burner account. Sad!
Nola pitched an amazing game Monday night. 6.2 innings, nine strikeouts, and only two hits allowed, notably after NBC Sports Philadelphia jinxed it with the “Perfect Game Alert” or whatever chyron that was. Talk about a mush. Put that producer in the bathroom. I don’t want your money touching my money.
Nola allowed nine runs and 22 hits over the course of 27.2 innings in September. That Chicago game was really truly the only gross outing, otherwise he was steady. Guy is a good pitcher. If you’re looking for prime Sandy Koufax, then expectations need to be reset. We can have the subjective conversation about what constitutes an “ace” at any point in time, but the Phils are going to the playoffs and it’s time to enjoy it. Let’s see what happens.
