Good News with Jordan Davis and Dallas Goedert
Couple of injury updates here:
Eagles TE Dallas Goedert is no longer wearing a sling. He said he’s hopeful to come back from IR as soon as possible.
He’s eligible to return Week 15 at Chicago.

Eagles now have opened the 21-day practice window for DT Jordan Davis. He could play as soon as Sunday vs. the Titans.

For Davis, the Eagles will have to decide by 4 p.m. Saturday if they want to bring him off injured reserve. If so, they’ll have him, Linval Joseph, and Ndamukong so all available alongside Javon Hargrave and Fletcher Cox to face Derrick Henry and the Titans.
As for Goedert, who let’s not forget was injured on a horrendous no-call facemask, he’s missed two games and would miss two more before he can return. Best case scenario, he gets back for the Chicago game and then would be able to play vs. Dallas and New Orleans before the Week 17 game against New York, which hopefully won’t matter.
Ideally, you also have Avonte Maddox back sooner rather than later. No duh. One loss in the secondary is okay, but without both him and CJGJ, that’s 40% of your nickel look being operated by backups right now. You get him back and things are much more solid in the slot.
