Meek Mill Now Working NFL Deals Behind the Scenes

Meek Mill apparently now fancies himself an agent:

Patriots owner Robert Kraft said Meek Mill texted him three or four days ago saying Lamar Jackson wanted to come to New England. Kraft responded that would be Bill Belichick’s decision.

Now we’re gonna need that memo informing NFL teams that Meek Mill is a rapper and not a certified agent. Look for Schefter to drop that in the next 24 hours.

Imagine Bill Belichick getting word of this. “Yeah hey, Bill, listen, I just got a text from Meek Mill. He says Lamar Jackson wants to come here.” You think he’s willing bring in Lamar if it means having to negotiate via a rapper who is friends with Kraft? Not your typical football deal.

But anyway, Meek was dead to me after he performed at the Patiots’ Super Bowl party. Yeah, Bob Kraft helped get him out of jail or whatever, and donates millions to social justice initiatives, but you’re either a true Birds fan or a sell out, and Meek sold out. Not a four-for-four guy.
