Report: Joel Embiid’s Status May Not Be Known Until Monday

Joel Embiid update, well, kind of:

I’m told Joel Embiid’s status for Game 1 in Boston Monday is still not known after meeting with doctors & may not be known until Sunday/Monday

Trea Young’s Game 5 performance looks more and more important for the Sixers as reports about Embiid’s knee remain cautious. Monday will be day 10 of Embiid’s recovery from a LCL sprain and right now the betting markets reflect the uncertainty. Draftkings has the Sixers as 7.5 point dogs and Boston is -310 to take the series.
