Saquon Barkley with a Nice Flop on the Hail Mary

Jimmy Kempski pulled the all-22 of the Hail Mary from the New York win:
In addition to the LeBron-like flop by Saquon Barkley, on the All-22 you can also see Darren Waller (12) chuck Bradley Roby (33) to the ground, lol. https://t.co/OE8tIhoZAz pic.twitter.com/3dYXK7IO7f

Brian Daboll was looking for a flag on the game’s final play. Has there ever been interference or a defensive holding call on a Hail Mary? Don’t think I’ve ever seen one. The refs typically swallow the whistle and let the players go up and attack the ball.
It would be one thing if a guy was tackled in a totally egregious kind of way, but when you watch this one back, there’s nothing happening on the bottom portion of the screen. Kevin Byard gets a little handsy, but nothing crazy. Saquon Barkley flops and Darren Waller throws Bradley Roby to the ground. The only thing New York has a legitimate gripe about is Kelee Ringo grabbing Isaiah Hodgins in the back corner, but again, refs aren’t calling stuff like that. They never do. And if you trade that for Waller’s OPI, then congrats, it’s a wash.
