Well this is a bummer. People went on the AC Boardwalk Hall website and saw this graphic:

Philly’s Sean Brady was originally in the main event, fighting Vicente Luque. Apparently he’s injured and had to withdraw, so Joaquin Buckley steps in to fight Luque and the co-main of Erin Blanchfield vs. Manon Fiorot is the new headliner.

Truth be told, I still love this card. Blanchfield vs. Fiorot was a worthy main event even with Brady and Luque on the bill. Why? Because Erin Blanchfield is a fucking killer. A 24 year old Jersey native who is unbeaten in the UFC, oh by the way fighting another contender who has never lost in the UFC. Blanchfield vs. Fiorot is a banger and will determine who gets the next title shot at 125 pounds.

Buckley is great as well. 17-6 and on a two-fight win streak. Luque is Luque – always entertaining and willing to fight anyone. Former middleweight champ Chris Weidman is also fighting on this card, as is Delco native Andre Petroski. There’s still a lot of local representation here. It’s a worthwhile card.
