Even After Being Put Through the Media Wringer, A.J. Brown Would Like to Hang His Cleats Up in an Eagles Uniform

A.J. Brown signed his new contract:

“What’s up Eagle Nation? It’s A.J. Brown. I’m so glad to be here man, guys when I hang my cleats up it’s gonna be in that uniform right there. I’m so blessed, so thankful, ready for the upcoming season. Go Birds.”

I guess the people who wanted to trade A.J. Brown and eat an astronomical dead cap hit are gonna have to find a new slant. It was the most ridiculous thing ever, partly because the concept itself was flimsy and partly because people misinterpreted sports talk radio hypothetical as actual news. The Eagles acquired the best receiver they’d had since Terrell Owens and a bunch of goobers couldn’t get over themselves because of what? Some misconstrued sideline behavior? Some allegation that he’s selfish and needs a certain amount of targets? Some contrived beef between himself and DeVonta Smith?

Horrendous. Shameful!
