Now that we’ve had time to process the end of Game 2, it’s time to build the positivity back up for the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers enter Game 3 anywhere from +350 to +370 to beat the New York Knicks on NJ sports betting apps and PA sports betting apps in the series.

Your best friends at the bar and the few positive people left on the internet will tell you it’s an incredible buy-low position on the Sixers. They were competitive at Madison Square Garden and now they get home court on their side with two days of rest ahead of both Games 3 and 4.

The series money line is not the only thing worth exploring if you believe the Sixers’ comeback begins on Thursday night. The Sixers are +145 on the +1.5 series spread. You are banking on the Sixers winning all three home games at minimum in that scenario. Hell, even the +2.5 at -130 is worth betting on if you believe they will win both Games 3 and 4. I’d apply the same thinking to the over on games in the series at 5.5. You can’t parlay over 5.5 with the Sixers spread, but that’s the best approach to take if a comeback happens.

There’s also some intriguing value on the series player props going into Game 3. Most notably, Tyrese Maxey carries plus-money odds to be the leading scorer in the series. Maxey scored five more points than Embiid in two games, and it’s clear that the Sixers big man is not operating anywhere close to 100 percent. Jalen Brunson is a fascinating bet on this prop as well at +850 on FanDuel only because he can’t play any worse. Brunson scored 46 points on 55 field-goal attempts at home. One 30-or-40-point performance could put Brunson back in the running.

Josh Hart is an overwhelming favorite to end the series with the most rebounds. He has 12 more boards than anyone else in the series. Embiid is too banged up and I don’t think Tobias Harris can match Hart’s production on the glass, so that’s an untouchable prop.

Embiid could be a sneaky pick to have the most assists in the series, though, since he has two fewer assists than Maxey and one less than Brunson. If Embiid is really that banged up and can’t explode toward the rim, he could be used as a decoy in some offensive sets to free up Maxey and the other shooters. Embiid had either seven or eight assists in his last three home games in the regular season, so I would look into the assists leader at +700 on DraftKings, especially if you believe Maxey scores a ton.

The Maxey scoring angle can also be taken advantage of in the series threes leader prop. Maxey and Hart both have eight three-pointers in the series, but Maxey attempted five more shots from deep. Hart being over +1000 at all books to lead the series in threes shows you that no one expects his hot shooting to continue. Donte DiVincenzo would be the Knicks player to be concerned about in that regard. If you believe the Sixers have a comeback in them, I would suggest looking at a few of these props because they can be cash cows if you find the right ones.
